Default Clear Coat Cloudy..How do I make my Wheels Shine again!!

The clear coat on my '84 original wheels are cloudy what would be the best thing to make them shine like new again? Any help would be appreciated. I thought about stripping the clear and just polishing them.
I have checked the threads and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for...Thanks...

I've had good luck with a wheel polish called "Blue Magic". It comes in a little jar about 2 inches across, with a dark blue lid, and is at most auto parts stores. I had a set of custom rims that were clearcoated, that became cloudy after a while and this stuff really did the trick.

Of course, test a small spot first to make sure it has the intended effect!

dont use a metal polish on a wheel clearcoated, it must be treated llike paint. That would suggest a paint polish as needed. Unfortunately GM wheel clear is always somewhat cloudy looking.
