Default Mothers California Gold clay bar system any good?

I won this clay bar system with the clay bar, detailer spray & carnauba cleaner wax. I have never clay barred my car before & wondered if this was any good?

Comments? Suggestions?
Thanks.

I've used it a few times on mine with good results, not the carnuba cleaner wax, just the clay bar and detail spray.

The Mother's clay bar is a very good OTC clay bar. I've used it a few times with their spray/lube QD and it does a nice job. Appears to me to be on the mild side as far as being abrasive. I like it. Not a big fan of their waxes.

I used these clay bars for the first time last weekend on my partner's Nighthawk Black Pearl 2008 Honda Civic EX. Compared to the Zaino clay bars (which I've used on my '07 LMB Coupe), these seem to be a little less abrasive IMO. They were easy to use and did a great job. Would definitely use them again. Did not use the QD so can't opine on it.

If I needed a claybar kit locally, I would pick this one from Mothers or ClayMagic. Its a nice kit, and well the wax is ok for a cleaner wax. Their Synwax and Reflections lines are better for wax options.

Ive used just the clay and QD and it works great. The gold class wax or nxt 2.0 is better way for shine. Just buy the clay kit and go to town.
