Default Drying rotors on Z51 after washing?

Does anyone have a trick to washing your car and not having the black water run out of your rotors and onto your wheels when you take that 1st drive after washing? I have been washing, drying and then taking a 5 minute ride and then recleaning the wheels. Is there a better way?

Thanks!

The caliper area may need more attention when washing and drying.
Have you tried a leaf blower or compressed air to dry? It's just a thought.

I pull the wheels on my Z06 every six months or so and detail everything. I also bleed the brakes at that time

Leaf Blower ... a nice wheel sealant like DP or Poorboys also helps to keep those streaks from setting in and harder to remove.

Thanks! I'll have to try a wheel sealant. I've been using Klasse AIO and Sealant glaze on my wheels. I used the leaf blower and it definately seems to have worked.

The Klasse products are acrylic sealants (one with cleaners, the other without) and perfect, no need for the others IMO.

That's exactly what I do. I still get some rust drips but not much and it takes about 2 minutes to wipe it all down. And my wheels are Black powder coated, so like everything else black, they show everything.

Or, you might just hose them off and drive it like you stole it. No one can see any drips. And its fun!
