Z-cs ?
hey guys, did search and found the consensus is to finish off Z-CS w/ Z-8.
My question is how long after applying Z-CS should you wait to apply the Z-8?
Guess I'm asking how long for Z-CS to dry and cure?
Thanks
Thanks for all the replies guys...
shoulda thought of this before, but got a followup question.....well really it shoulda been the 1st question...
Do I need to wait to apply the Z-CS over my final layer of Z-2? I ususally go Z-2 followed by Z-6, so I would be applying the Z-CS over my final layer of Z-6? or should I not Z-6 and apply Z-CS on top of Z-2?
Thanks alot...just wanna do it right......

As soon as the Clear Sealant cures you can apply the Z8 Grand Finale. The cure time varies depending on the humidity and how correctly it was applied. Even if there is a little hazing, the Z8 clears it. On a day with low humidity I can usually apply Z8 within an hour or less.

14. How long does Z-CS take to dry or cure? Drying and curing are two different processes. Depending on atmospheric conditions, it typically takes 15-30 minutes for a properly applied layer of Z-CS to dry, but can take up to several hours with low ambient temperatures, moisture, and high humidity. Full cross linking (curing) generally takes anywhere from 2-6 hours, again, depending on atmospheric conditions.
