Mother's Professional Line! ***NEW***
This just in... Mother's new Professional Line!
Tried out the new Mother's Heavy Duty Rubbing Compound with a wool cutting pad on #2000 Grit sanding marks and it absolutely decimated them. Followed this with the new Foam Pad Polish and found the same thing, a very wet polish with plenty of play time.
The first thing I noticed about this compound is that it's a very wet product which gives it a long buffing cycle with easy wipe off.
It says on the label it's an aggressive cutting compound and that's how it performs. It left the expected buffers swirls from the compound and the wool fibers of the buffing pad but there were easily removed using the Foam Pad Polish.

It makes sense for them to offer a professional line. They spend lots on advertising and promotion and have developed a good reputation.
It's interesting that they aren't showing a LSP in their initial lineup. I've used their Reflections and liked it.
FYI Mike, to decimate means to reduce by 10%.

For body shop work there wouldn't normally be a wax or paint sealant in the line as body shops don't bring products into the fresh paint environment that could contaminate the shop.
But it does seem like they would have one in the line because this product line will cross-over into the refinishing industry where they do use waxes as well as enthusiast detailers.
Thanks, I should have used the word eliminated instead...
