Who Makes the Best Microfiber Towels/Detailing Cloths, etc.?
So far, I've tried the big box store MF towels (OK) as well as those offered by Adams and Griot's Garage. The ones by Griot's are very thick and very soft, however also very pricey. I usually wait until they are on sale, etc.
Anyone have any other recommendations? I usually use them for regular detailing spray application as well as removing polish and wax.

I buy all of my microfibers from AutoGeek and have never been disappointed. Plush and high quality. I also use their Micro-Restore to wash them with.

I use the purple ones from AG. I have heard great things with pakshak, but so far AG has never let me down.
I suppose it is all in what you need- I have been stocking up on Costco ones- but would not dare use them on paint. They work well as shop rags, and for interior stuff/windows, and tires and are very cheap. I toss them when they are hammered, and wash them and reuse when I can. Work better than shop rags and paper towels.
Best of luck!

I used to use the costco ones as well and find them to be too harsh for paint really. Very easy to swirl the paint. I recently picked up the tangerine and purple super plush MFs from Autogeek and so far, pretty impressed with them. The tangerine ones are sorta like the costco ones, but not harsh on the paint from what I can see. Haven't swirled with them.
The purple super plush ones are amazing...however very expensive. I only bought a 3 pack and I think that's enough to suffice for myself. I use the tangerine ones to do the more dirty stuff like wheel wells, rims, engine bay, glass, etc... And I leave the purple ones for paint only. I have used the tangerine ones on the paint when I encountered really dirty areas like behind the wheel wells from wheel splatter, or bird droppings.
Just try not to press hard and let the towel/product do the dirty work.

Our Cobra towels are some of the best in the business. We even fufill orders for other vendors. Id suggest Sonus Towel (white red borders), Supremes (Grey), Guzzler (drying), and tire towels (black) as some of the best offerings.

16x24 gold ones from Auto-geek. They are plush on one side and not plush on the other. perfect for removing and buffing with the same towel. Ive had them all and these are the most fuctional. But I still miss the "shamrocks"

I own a dozen of the shamrocks. They are still like brand new. I read some threads where people had problems - not sure maybe a bad batch.

The best made towels come from South Korea, that we at ProperAutoCare.com had for many years. Like out Dragon Fiber Magic Towel and Super-plush, Mult-task, Microfiber Towels. Don't forget the Perfect Shine Microfiber Buffing Cloth for the ultimate in surface safety.

If that's what got everyone in a tizzy that's too much for me. I'd like to buy some more of these myself
