The Best Waterless Car Wash
As a guy who "washes" his car almost daily, I've tried many waterless car washes. Who do you guys think makes the best waterless car wash and why?

I use Griots Spray on Car Wash that works great. If the car is not to dirty I use Griots Spray on Wax to clean. Make sure that you are using a high quality microfiber towels that can be found at autogeek. Good luck !!

I have tried several "Rinseless" products over the years....lately it is as if everyone is on the bandwagon. I tried both the original version of ONR to the improved version. I was not to impressed with either.....fast forward to SEMA 2010.
I attended a Detailing for Success seminar where I was asked to be a guest speaker along with a few other people. One of the other speakers at the seminar was the owner of Poly's Clear Tech System. This also is rinseless product, much like ONR....but in my opinion "So much better"
We performed numerous tests that day comparing several products on rental cars, there was about 30 professional detailers for the event from around the nation. The results I saw and many others proved that Poly's XL was the winner......
The opinion expressed is that of my own..........I was never a rinseless believer, but now that I have this in my arsenal I love it!...Here is a video of how I use the product to emulsify the dirt on the vehicle, then using a bucket wipe panel by panel and at the same time wring out the dirty towel in a bucket with the Polys XL solution. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AJz64G18HA
You can also acheive the same results with a 32oz sprayer as I do with my Detailing Caddy.....Be sure to have premium quality MF towels for this job and leave the lowers and the wheel well arches for last.

This is the best currently, with Optimums ONR second to it.

If it "emulsifies" dirt, grime, etc... what does it do to the existing wax(es), whether it be carnuba or a poly?
Oh, and aside from obvious build up, how much dirt is too much for a waterless wash?

I have washed it while just dusty, to quite dirty after a rain storm and interstate driving without issue. Take a leap of faith, I suspect you will find like I did that you "should" or "could" have considered it sooner.

Don't agree, every time I've used it, it leaves a film and I end up using a detail spray or Griot's spray wax. I found all I have to do i dust it off (if it weren't in the rain) with a paraffin duster and finish with Griot's spray wax and eliminate the "waterless wash" entirely.

I used the ONR and it worked flawlessly. Seemed real watery though with only an ounce to 2 gallons of water. Gonna try it as a spray n wipe application, 2oz to 32oz of water next.
