Default Thoughts on using Zaino with Adams detail..why?

Given the amount of detail spray I use on multiple cars and given that Sal won't sell gallons of Z6, and given Adams WILL sell gallons of their detail spray, I was wondering how the Z2 would perform if used with the Adams detail. I don't have any Z2 to test it out, any thoughts from you guys on this idea? (Other than I probably have my head some place it shouldn't be.... LOL)

I tried it and didn't like it. Z6 is what I would stick with.

Thanks! Not what I hoped to hear, but good input. I just knew someone on here had tried it.

You never know. You might like it.

I didn't. Z6 is a better detail spray to me. I'm not a fan of the pink stuff.

I have used Z for years and I have learned over the past several that I enjoy the results of Z6 far better than Z8. I no longer use Z8. I am not saying it is a bad product, but to me and my vette, the Z6 gives me the wow shine I am looking for.

I agree with you. I use both Z6 and Z8 and I can't tell the difference the Z8 Grand Finale spray is supposed to make. Don't get me wrong, they both create a nice shine and ultra slick surface. But for half the price I might just stick with Z6 once my supply of Z8 runs out. I've even dilluted the Z8 with water 50/50 and just use it now as a QD.

To the OP, I'm not sure if Z6 works well with Adams or vice versa. I'm sure Sal would have an opinion that leans towards no.

I liked it before the vettes. It was the first product I found that was easy to use, provided amazing results, and just plain works. I know lots of people that swear by Adams as well. I have not tried Adams. I would like to. Really the products from Adams I am looking at would replace my Menzerra products.

Back to the OP. If its price you are concerned about many people cut the Z6 50/50 with water and don't have issues, some do. If you do you could cut it with less water.

Default Adams over Z2

I use Adams over Zaino on a regular basis. Very easy to use, produces a great shine and unless you are battling the sun almost no streaks. Also smells great. Buy a gallon and use it with confidence.

i prefer z6 but won't pay the shipping . i use other qd's over zaino on daily driver and found them satisfactory . use z6 or z8 on vettes but since they are almost never driven i use little qd on them in a year .

If cost is an issue the Z6 can be cut up to 50/50 with water and still perform well. I usually keep a bottle of 1/2 strength around for when it is really hot out, I think it works better in the extreme heat.

I would not go outside of the system just because you can get gallons.
