Leather Seat Wrinkles
The leather in the center portion of my drivers seat has developed some fine wrinkles. The rarely used passenger seat looks like new. I have read that carefully applying heat from a hair dryer to the seat will shrink the leather. There is also a video of some detail guy using wet towels heated in the microwave oven to do this same. Has anybody tried either of these methods with success ?

I don't know the answer to your post, but know where you may get some info. Try contacting George at Leatherique (lrpltd@bellsouth.net). Through the years, he has helped me with many leather issues, both automotive, and for my collection of militaria. His advice has also been "spot on" and remedied whatever problem I had asked about.
Good luck!

Most leather used in automotive settings is coated (finished) and its hard to say if the wrinkles are due to the coating as it wears, but likely also do to the daily use of leather as we move in and out causing some friction. I don't know that heat would bring back the coating in these area's if they are worn away specifically.
