Default wax on wax off

I need to know if there is a product out there to remove wax on my 2000 vette coupe. I have had it for two years now, bought it with 21,170 miles on it, one owner car. I have at least 50 coats of wax on it. has never seen rain and it has never been washed, its like a mirror, I wish I knew how to post pics. the car is black, thanks for any help. GINO

Regular ole Dawn dishwashing soap should do the trick

If you want something fancy, some companies (like Griot's) have whats called Paint Prep

check this out:

but let me ask you - Why are you doing it ?

You can also give it an APC (all purpose cleaner wash). Plus, if you polish the paint before you put something else on, the polish will remove what ever you have on the paint.

It is an easy process

Or after washing and drying, you can clay the car. That will remove old wax as well as any grit, grime or other nasty stuff that dulls your paint's finish.

Also most cleaner wax will remove old wax or a Miguirs #9 is very mild and after a dawn wash will remove any left. Good luck

A paint cleansing lotion (Pinnacle, Dodo, P21S), a liquid paint prep (Griots, Prepsol), or a light abrasive polish will remove all the old layers of a wax or sealant and prep them for the start of some new products.

??????????

I thought clay took Wax/Sealant off. I have seen some photos here of the after effects of clay that took a lot more than Wax off.

Just wondering and confused !! (Thats nothing new!)

great choice , you will find a paint cleanser in the kit that is equally as good as our Pinnacle Paintwork lotion.
