Default Undercarriage cleaning

Has anybody tried to clean the undercarriage of their car, especially the suspension parts? Just wondering what to use to clean off all the dirt, grime, and everything else that has accumulated on them over the years.

For the aluminum I hear the Aluminum Brightener at NAPA works wonders. I haven't tried it yet though. Normally I put it on stands crawl under with diluted Simple Green and scrub. Be prepared to lube bushings mine always squeak after.

We often suggest a citrus based cleaner like P21S Total Auto Wash. You will also want to invest in some brushes and towels.
