Default Corvette Museum Clear Bra Paint Protection Install

Paint Protection Nashville is in full swing getting to work on all the beautiful brand new Stingrays coming out. XPEL ULTIMATE is the official paint protection film of the Corvette Museum. We already have our patterns complete so installers can use our pre cut pattern software rather than risking a nick or scratch in the paint from hand cutting.

XPEL ULTIMATE comes with a 10 year warranty, is optically clear, texture free (no orange peel), stain resistant, and self-healing!

Here are some photos of recent installations. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask.

This photo shows how accurate our patterns can be. Hugging each line with precision for maximum protection.

Are installations at the museum available (by appointment) for other than new C7's?

Hi Lane;
The Vette still looks great. Great job on the installation.
Thanks again.

Made an appointment today for Xpel on my new Stingray. I will breathe easier when it is done.

Default Costs

Gonzo,

I can't provide a 100% accurate quote from different markets due to labor rates and installer experience. But I can provide a range of what to expect.

For a partial front end: 18-24" up the hood and fenders, plus the bumper, headlights and mirrors.
$795-1,000

For a full front end: entire hood and fenders, front bumper, headlights and mirrors.
$1,795-2,200

But it's best to contact the installers and speak to them directly for an accurate quote.

I suggest doing the entire hood and fenders or there will be a line that will catch dirt and wax/polish and most likely be visible.

Default Beware of Xpel and their certified installers

Yes beware of this product. and the installers. I had mine done and wish I would have never done it. Bubbles, dirt, loose edges etc. My installer from the Orlando area promised to come and fix things. 5 months later and he never showed up until I threatened to sue. He finally agreed to remove it but will not do it unless I sign a release of liability covering his butt if he screws up the removal. You will never see this absurd requirement in a Xpel brochure or their website nor did I sign anything prior to installation. I am headed to court on this one. Just be careful who you are dealing with. I would bet Paint Protection Nashville did not have the Museum sign a waiver in case of trouble !!!

Lighten up Francis. You got a bad install job. Paint Protection Nashville did mine and it came out perfect. While Xpel is a great product it needs to be installed correctly. Mine has been on for over 2 years and I would have to show you EXACTLY where the Xpel was installed because the install was perfect.
Good luck in court.

I took the Orlando installer to court and he decided not go to court. He paid all my expenses, refunds, and quite a bit more to settle. Please choose your installer carefully. Nothing but a controlled environment and a goood installer will do. BTW Xpel rep Jeff Phillips was very helpful. Never sign a damage waiver that protects the installer if he screws up the install and the Xpel has to be removed. Ask ahead of time.

I had Xpel Ultimate installed locally last year on our `10 Cyber Gray Grand Sport before we left on the National Corvette Caravan. We traveled 8400 miles on that road trip and I can assure you we do not have a single rock chip or mar anywhere the Xpel covers. Our installer recommended the "bikini cut" so that all edges are beveled and nearly invisible. He also did wrapped edges so there are no edges visible where the hood meets the fenders or front bumper.
Two days after the install I found a tiny hair under the front bumper piece, he immediately had me bring the car back, he stripped off the entire piece and installed a new one at no cost to me.
I am extremely happy with the product and the installer. Xpel has a list of authorized installers to choose from.

Glad to hear that Duckvette. My only caution is that Xpel's authorized list does not guarantee a good job. Xpel has no environment criteria, nor do I believe they closely monitor their dealers. . IMO they let dealers almost operate carte blanch. Let the buyer beware.
