Removing Pitting on Inside of Wheel Barrel
I would appreciate info on removing pitting from the inside of the wheel barrel on aluminum allow wheels (see pics).

pitting is often associated with the harm and etching of a metal finish. Other than refinishing, there is no quick repair. Its best to keep uncoated and chrome wheels clean, dry, and protected as possible. This should also help control additional pitting.

If it is polished aluminum and no coating, then you can sand it out. After wet sanding with 600, 1000, 1500, 2000, and 3000 you can polish it with some Adams #1 and 2. It will bring it right back to new. In future, clean brake dust off more often and keep them dry. Polish at least once a year and seal with something that will help protect from brake dust.
