Default Just Finished ??

Hi

I just finished polishing my ss exhaust and it came out only OK. This is the set that was advertised for $29.95 del.

I received 3 different cloth wheels and 3 different buffing sticks.

It did an ok job but was unable to get rid of small blk spots and was not able to get in between the tips.

I should have ordered the set that included the Semichrome.

Bottomline PAY CHEAP GET CHEAP

Or in defense of the vendor msybe i did it wrong

Use a metal polish designed for type of metal being polished (ie. stainless steel). Consider 0000 steel or brass wool as needed. Wool polishing bobs can help also, just make sure to have room as you don't want to harm paint.

Default Meguiar's Technician

I talked with a technician at Meguiar's just recently about stainless steel.
He recommended using "Meguiar's Metal Finishing Polish". G15605.
Available from Advance Auto and Walmart.

I use Flitz and a buffing ball. I have used it for years on my boats stainless, and on my 1911 S&W.
