OK, i waited to get the stuff you all recommended, is the list below correct?
I'll do the following if correct,
1. Strip with ZEP
2. Clean with claybar
3. Use swirl remover entire car Zaino
4. Use polish Zaino
5. Use Klasse glaze
6. Use P21s

polish than swirl remover. when claying use a QD as a lubricant. Some people will use dish soap diluted in water. Don't rub with a lot of pressure as you can induce additional marring. Before you apply sealant i would do a 50-50 isopropyl/distilled water wipe down to remove any residual polishing agents

First off flat pads work great, the waffle ones are not superior…
Next, wash the car clay the car and machine polish the car with an abrasive. Probably two steps with different pads. The next day (quite often) then you use your Zaino 2pro polish. That is your sealant. The glaze on top is worthless and wax on top of glaze is just wasted product…..
After you seal with Z2P, Z-6 or Z-8 would work. Or if you want to top that with a wax, fine…..
Skip the glaze….Always skip the glaze….

I would not use the Zep on my cars.
I see others do, diluted, but that seems harsh.
Without stirring the pot, I am one if those who wash with Dawn. It works, people have used it for decades. That said, I have only used Dawn a few times and that is when I have a car with so much product on it, it never seems to come out right.
A normal wash is of course with quality car soap.
Anyways, wash, clay, polish.
A sealer is good, Klasse is superior I feel.
P21S.

Not too harsh at all. Have used it hundereds' of times over the years . Some of my details are cars over a dozen years old and are stripped twice yearly. No ill effects whatsoever

You've got way to many products and some "might" overlap :
Klasse SG (silver bottle) is a sealant (not a true glaze) it is similar to products like Zaino, Rejex, Wolfgang, and other synthetic waxes. Its a great and durable product, just a little finicky to remove.
Which polishes do you have ?? Zaino only makes one true polish, its called Fusion. All the other products which say show car polish are actually sealants like Klasse SG.
As for the Zep, it might be an ok pre-soak before washing. (no I would not use Dawn or any dishwashing liquid) make sure to dilute it properly as it wasn't necessarily designed for car care. In the future, P21S, makes a great citrus based cleaner called Total Wash.

Here's a good plan of attack ....
1. Wash normally with car wash (you can use APC as desired, remember to dilute)
2. Clay while car is clean and wet
3. Rinse and dry
4. Polish Paint (Fusion) as needed/wanted
5. Klasse SG
6. (optional) --P21S Wax topper after 8-24 hours of Klasse being dried

Personally I would suggest Four Star UPP which blows away all of them in looks and doesn't need a spray booster either. I am also impressed more with coatings than sealants and waxes now. They offer longer durability, more gloss, and about the easiest to apply/remove of any product. In the end its about helping others find the best pattern within the products they currently own or plan on owning.

Please give examples of coatings that you would recommend, and a recipe starting with stripping off old wax etc. I'm not in a hurry, my car is going away for the winter soon, but next spring is a new year . . . I've got a 10 year old car with relatively good paint but it has many micro-scratches that I expect to try to remove next spring. I have a random orbital polisher and am planning to use it next spring when the car comes out of storage.
I'd like a glossy and durable finish, one that I can wipe clean with little fuss during the year.

On the panel with the most marring, try some Menzerna 085rd. After polishing wipe down with alcohol/water mix. Did it remove all the marring or more, if so we need to move to a more abrasive polish first.
Generally we would start with Menzerna SIP and an orange pad. Use some pressure and high speed. (I prefer 5.5 inch pads) You will want 3-4 pads for average car. Once this is completely polished and it should look great, we are going one step further. We want to have some finishing pads (grey, blue) and Menzerna 085rd. We are going to repolish the entire car essentially up-ing the gloss and reflection. Once done the car should look like glass.
I personally would suggest Optimums Opti-gloss. It comes in a syringe and you apply by applicator. You put it on thin and try to lightly overlap. If you see any high spots (over application) you buff it off with a super soft MF towel. That's it .... guaranteed several years of protection.
Now the best part .... you can still add a top coat as desired. I find several of those detail sprays like Prima's Hydro Max all that's needed. I use it while car is still lightly damp to help remove any spots after a good wash and avoid more marring.
