Nanoskin Question
I am thinking of using the 'new' Nanoskin fine scrubber instead of a clay bar.
Anyone have any opinions on this scrubber?
Also, what type of pad should I buy? I am thinking either the 4" or 6" pad and the hand adapter since I don't have a air powered DA.
Also, does soap and water work as a lubricant for this item?
Thanks.

I just used a Nanoskin fine mitt by hand last week on my silver Tacoma pickup. It worked fantastic. I first washed the truck thoroughly with the Dawn and rinsed well. Mixed up a fresh bucket of water with Dawn and used that on one panel at a time.

The video shows how to use with a hand applicator. I would use the clay lube or use your own made from ONR (Optimum No Rinse).

Remember to rinse the Nano pad/sponge out after every panel.
I used the fine grade on a 6 year old car, garaged kept and not a DD, and the fine grade did a great job. I had not used a clay type product prior. I have heard that the next grade can sometimes mar resulting in another step in removing minor swirls. Use a good lubricant just like with clay.
Good product.

That looks like some serious cleaning products that make washing and caring much easier.
Thanks for posting that link

I'm on my second Nanoskin Autoscrub Towel–Fine Grade. I use it a lot and recommend it.
In some cases, I found I need to follow up with a very fine clay bar but that is fairly rare.
If you're looking to "try it out" try a Nanoskin Autoscrub Speedy Prep Sponge–Fine Grade.
From what I have read, detergent/soaps can/may ruin the Autoscrub polymerized rubber.
In my case, I prefer not to take a a chance destroying a $60 towel so I use ONR or Glide.
As Scott said, use ONR (Optimum No Rinse) diluted or Nanoskin Glide as a clay lubricant.
Rinse it out between each panel and when finished, place it rubber side up to dry & store.
