Default Chrome Rim Polishing

Hello.

Just bought my first set of chrome rims I've ever owned. What are you guys using on yours rims to shine them up? The rims are in perfect condition already.

If they're already in perfect shape and you just want to bring out some more gloss give our Spray Glaze a shot - http://surfcitygarage.com/scg-profes...ray-glaze.html

If you do need something to actually polish them and address any light scratches or things like that then Killer Chrome would be the way to go.

If you decide to order either one don't forget to use your forum code (VETTE) for the extra 10% off.

If they have light marks then you can hit them with both the products above.

Polish first with Killer Chrome, then bring out some additional pop with Spray Glaze.

Whatever you do be sure to post up some pics!

I use Mothers Chrome Polish. Easy on and easy off. Don't use it too often. I put Rejex on the wheels too.

Chrome is quite durable, here's what I have found to increase their life and also keep them looking great:

1. Clean with Griots Chrome Wheel Cleaner (remember barrels too)
2. Polish with a chrome polish when needed
3. Seal wheels with G-technics Wheel Armour

Ok guys, I talked to my buddy that owns a rim shop and he suggested autosol, so I picked some up for 14$ out the door at a local store. here are some pictures, after I was done my applicator micro rag was brown, I can see a higher gloss that you can see in person but I doubt the camera can pick it up. I will be adding something to protect from road grime but not sure which product yet..

Before Poilsh

After

Looks great .... several other great metal polishes offer similar outcome. Flitz actually offers some wax protection built in. I still prefer a sealant or coating for long term protection on wheels.

Rejex is a great product to seal paint, and metal. Very durable and some nice gloss. Use as directed and make sure to try it on paint also.
