Default Best waxes???

So its just about spring and almost time to clay and wax my 06 C6...
Ive always used Maguiars gold class for wash and bought the most expensive wax I could find at Walmart or Canadian Tire but I've read on here about Adams and Zaino and unfortunately those are US products. So im looking for other recommendations on waxes that people use in Canada that in can easily go out and buy. Is the Meguiars Ultimate line any good? If so whats the best process?
Thanks

As far as products you can buy in stores, the Meguiars Ultimate line is very good. I use it myself, as well as Zaino and Adam products.

You are going to get a lot of opinions on “best waxes” but you should get what works for you, your needs and what is available in your area.

As far as process, this is what I do:

1. Wash
2. Clay
3. Re-wash
4. Dry
5. Polish
6. Wax/Seal

I do that every 4-6 months and just a wash + quick detail when needed.

If www.autogeek.net makes it or carries the line, then it has to be good. We take reviews and recommendations quite seriously. We ship to Canada and have a couple contacts/resellers in Canada also. Generally speaking, boutique products often offer what cannot always be found at retail.

It is indeed a very valid step and product. It should be part of (at least) the initial clean up.

Personally I like Zaino for its ease of use and how long it lasts and performs. It is available in Canada as there is a distributor in Kitchener.

Ok, you can't "go out and buy it" bit Adams does have a Canadian site.

Americana is hard to beat, unless you choose Patriot.

Best waxes? Sometimes, the best product isn't a wax at all. Do some research and learn what RejeX and Zaino can do. But like whats been said here often, it's all in the prep. If the surface hasn't been clayed and polished, it won't much matter what you use.

Everyone has their own process that works for them, and I'm sure you'll find out what's best for you. What I use on my cars is Meguiars Show Car Glaze #7. I follow that up with a good sealant. Lately I've been using Griots sealant and don't have any complaints. The water beads and the bugs just wipe right off even if they've been on there overnight.

I love Show Car Glaze #7 on metallic paint. It really makes it pop.
