Default Waterless Wash Recommendations ?

It's time for me to get more Waterless Wash.

In the past, I've tried Pinnacle, Griots, and just now finishing up some Blackfire.

While I've been happy with each one, I love trying new products.

What are your sugggestions ?

Chadwick's Triple Play is very popular on the C5 forum and Chadwicks is a forum sponsor.

Optimum, Duragloss, or my personal favorite, Ultima.

I thought the Pinnacle stuff worked really well. I almost never dry wash-it felt so wrong, but for a light dusting and when you don't want to get the wheels and stuff wet, it did save time.

Another vote for Chadwick's. Can't speak to the other's effectiveness as I haven't used them but this stuff works great, and I was VERY skeptical before using it...

Do these products REALLY work? I just cant imagine rubbing on a couple of days worth of road dirt won't put scratches in the finish. Maybe I'll learn something here to change my mind.

Blue!! but i use it with purified drinking water ( like the big 5 gallon jugs you put on water cooler cause i have really hard well water) and the grit gaurd in bottom of bucket.

doesnt take long to clean the car at all... sponge it on and then dry it off with a good MF. I do it in the garage. no hose no sun worries, good even light, Like i said, I am in love!

I wouldnt use it if you took your car through a corn field or something but Ive used it where ive had a layer of dirt I could write "wash me" in it if i wanted to, also used it no problem with bugs on the front bumper!

oh and i have a black car!

I plan on picking some of this up to try on my truck. How is it at removing water spots? And which of the two would you recommend?
Thanks

These products can be very effective when used as directed. You can actually mix some up and presoak a finish. There are emulsifiers and other ingredients to loosen dirt. Other ingredients and lubricants are also included to give the product greater viscosity and help control marring.

It has a water softener included to help from water spotting. I would mix some up and soak the surface to help remove any water spotting already on surface. Then mix up some in a bucket and use several soft MF towels or mitts to wash (a second bucket of rinse water is great option) the surface.

I like the Chadwicks stuff but it says to use it once a week.

My car gets dusty after one drive and I want to clean it before I go out again.

Are people just rinsing with water and then drying in between waterless wash?

Becareful ... water is nowhere near as lubricated as these rinseless and waterless washes. Also some contain emulsifiers and other ingredients to help loosen and break up dirt. The other key is good, soft, thick MF towels.

Jack, you might be reading too much into the "once a week" statement. I use it like a detail spray. I spray the car down after every drive. It looks great with a deep shine.
