Help, wax not drying, what to do?

Melting Slicks
When this has happened to me in the past, I resort back to Meguires products for satisfactory results. More than once....

I'm gonna try to wipe off the wax once more. I went out and got a Mother's Clay Bar kit.
My stepfather took care of all the vehicles, he passed away about a year ago. So I'm kinda new at this.

Wax should be applied as thin as possible, more is not better or longer protection. It is likely just wasted product and often makes it harder to remove. I have seen a damp towel work in a pinch to remove "wet" or "hard" wax to remove.
I would NOT suggest using a dishwashing liquid in car care. I wont get into the argument, but its not worthwhile nor valid. When you want to remove old wax or sealant, use a paint cleansing lotion or polishing.
