Default Weather strips products

I have purchased some weather stripping parts (doors, front and rear hood and some interior bits and pieces) for future use. These parts' availability is going to be scarce if not already so. What do you recommend in terms of coating/preserving them so they don't degrade when it comes time to use them- Thanks.

The applicator is easy to use, simply dab it once or twice to prime it. If you over apply it will leave a white foam (wipe this off immediately with a towel or MF Applicator). Once dried it lasts a very long time.
