2015 - Wash mitt recommendation
After performing a search, the most recent thread I could find for wash mitt recommendations was 3 years ago.
So, has anything changed over the years? I need a new wash mitt, and based on the reviews at various sellers the $6 option has better reviews than the $40 option.
What do you use?

I will add that many choices exist, some foam, some MF, and others with natural design. The challenge to most expensive mitts, is that people fail to care for them and store them properly. A sheepskin mitt has different care and lifespan than MF for instance.

I've been using Griots off of Amazon. You can get a set of 2 for $15. I use one for the upper part of the car and one for the lower/rockers. Two colors helps keep it straight what's for what. Mix this with the two bucket (four if you count the wheels since I use two buckets for those alone) method and I've been good so far.

I've tried more than I can count and always come back to the Adams square closed pad. I think it is 10" x 10".

Best recommended Wash Mitt
The Gloss-It double sided car wash mitt is ideal!
Our Gloss-It Car Wash Mitt is made of special foam designed to minimize scratches to your car while maximizing cleaning power and minimizing dirt from reaching paint surface.
Convoluted surface naturally moves dirt away from foam surface while allowing even pressure control for consistent wash.
Dual-Sided: Creme side for upper car surfaces and Yellow side for more aggressive rocker panel / wheel lip and lower splash area cleaning.
Fits like a glove and will not slip when wet. Use the strap when not using as a glove.
Lasts longer than wool or cloth. Made of strong industrial foam yet gentle enough to use on your car.

(and a good number of mitts are now made of thick, soft MF, (or a blend) because it works better than cotton and other materials)
As I said previously, their is some great media available for washing safely and correctly, the unfortunate issue is that they are not always kept, stored, and cleaned properly leading to failure and even damage to the finish. Sheepskin, Lambs wool are examples that cannot be left wet or stored in bucket until next use.

I don't know why? I really wanted to like them. I've washed them a few times but they still drag
