Generally speaking, glazes are fillers and temporary at best in design. They are used to try and hide swirls and scratches and add some additional gloss to paint. The challenge is that a true glaze has no protection properties and they wear off quickly in most environments. Most glazes are designed to be used prior to waxing. There are now some glazes that are compatible with sealants also.
If you polish your paint properly, you likely wont see a huge difference in using a glaze. I do know of some show car guys that only use a glaze and add before a show. Most have been swayed quite easily when they see Pinnacle Waxes and how wet they look.

Thank you Adams and Killrwheels. I am an avid Adams user...Have been for several years. Use to have a black Vette. Now have Sunset Orange. What a great color to care for. On the black Vette used Brilliant Glaze to fill in and add pop. This orange Vette really shines without it. I washed, polished and waxed yesterday and this morning. Tomorrow going to clean and glaze windows. Don't believe need to add "pop" but might test area with glaze for effect.
