Started by washing it with Dawn, then used their clay bar follow by an another wash using the Zaino car wash. Then I used the Z5 polish to get rid of any swirls/light scratches, then Z6 detailer, then Z2 polish and then a final coat of Z6. Took about 5 hours.

Thanks; it was all done by hand using the applicator pads provided by Zaino and cotton polish/buffing towels

That first pic is awesome. Really caught the reflections on the car well.

Very nice Prep is 75%, and you did a great job on it. Baffles me when people say Zaino is complicated. As a pro detailer that uses Zaino, I have yet to find anything that beats it and I get a pantload of free product to try.
Nice work!!!

Thanks & I agree; I've tried a few other products, but find Zaino to be the best and, although it takes time (half of it waiting for coats to dry), very easy to use.

Also, many years ago a friend who is a professional detailer & another, who does high-end paint work both told me the same thing; the difference between a quality job and an average one is the time & effort put into prepping before you apply the polish/paint...I think the results prove that

Bummer these have changed and fitment varies so much from car to car.
I'm wondering how the new Hinson headers compare fitment wise?

I bought my XS Power headers used 4 years ago. Cut off the AIR tube fittings, welded up the holes and had them coated locally.
Drivers side went in no issues.
Pass side just required getting it twisted the right way.
No pounding, grinding required.
They have never leaked. And 4 years later, still look great.

I used the MSD wires with the bendable boots. Sadly that's the only redeemable feature of the wires......
Boots not even close to the tubes still split badly. And I've had several change resistance fro 30 ohms to 3k ohms. Which means the spiral wire broke on its own. Causes misfires obviously.

Ron
