Default Cleaning wheel wells

Just sold my '98 and will be ordering a C7 in a few weeks. What do you use to clean the cloth-like material that they line wheel wells with now? I'm guessing it's used for sound deadening. My 2015 Impala has the same material in the wheel wells and I have leaves and everything else stuck on the material. I haven't quite figured out how to get the crap off.

My '98 had plastic wheel well liners and I just wiped them off with a damp towel.

What I have found to work the best is to blast them with a power washer......

Quarter car wash does a great job on fuzzy wheel wells.

Thank you! You'd think the engineers would come up with something a little easier to maintain. I'm sure they do it to reduce noise, but you'd think they'd be able to come up with something that goes on the inner part of the liner to minimize noise and make cleaning easier. Maybe I'm just too ****.

I always just rinsed them down with as much pressure as my hose will give. Then, after I've cleaned the wheel, I'll dip my wheel woolie into the wheel soap bucket and give the wheel well a quick scrub down. Rinse and repeat.

I was considering cleaning mine very well and then spritzing with 303 Fabric Gard. Perhaps it will help make future cleaning easier ?? Any objections ??

One of my buddies suggested that the other day. It's worth a try. I hate seeing a clean car with dirty wheel wells.

Daytona wheel brush works to clean, as well as a toilet brush

This is probably another stupid question, but is there enough room between the tires and the wheel well to really get in there and clean? I never drove my '98 in the rain, so cleaning the plastic wheel well liners was a breeze. I guess I can always jack it up so the wheels drop down a little.
