I know lately there's been new products out there and I been trying to see what is out there that might do a better job than the old clay bay. You have Nanoskin autoscrub now comes Clayzilla. Let me know your thoughts on both:

I wouldn't think there would be any end result difference in these two products and the tried and true clay bar. Looks like a marketing issue to me. It takes me about 40 minutes to clay a C-6 coupe, it looks like these products would take longer. Why change from a long time detailers choice clay bar?

You have many choices ... traditional clay, blocks, pads, and even buffer pads. Autogeek offered a hand held device (polishing pal) that your clay stuck into in the past also. While all work and most work well, I still prefer the tactile feel of traditional clay and knowing exactly which areas need work.

While I have never had a clay-bar 15 years old. Generally, when they go bad you know it. They start to crumble and fall apart with any use. I have had claybar's that are more than a couple years old, when stored properly.
Just remember, once a claybar hits the ground, its best to toss it out. If its a bigger bar, you can cut it in smaller pieces to keep some fresh and ready for use.
