Default Treatment for Expel

I had Expel applied to the majority of my 2015 Z51 (black) before I ever drove it away from the Dealership. What's the best way to detail the car? Wash as normal either water or waterless but what about final treatments like detail spray, coatings? I have never had Expel applied before and need some guidance. Thanks in advance.

You can wash and wax Expel the same as the uncovered areas. Just don't polish it.

I just stay away from abrasives and machine polishing in the areas that have been covered. I use Zaino Clear Sealant and Z6 or Z8 Spray detailers. Any spray detailer or non abrasive wax/polish is fine.

If using wax or sealant, just be careful around seams. Clean the dust away carefully or it will be there forever........

Thanks. I wasn't sure if it something like CarPro HydrO2 Foam would be a good selection but it sounds to be so. I read the details and it says it can be used on plastics but wasn't sure if these new coatings give shine to the Expel. Appreciate the help.

Xpel makes their own brand of sealant. I did the same as you and had almost the entire car protected with Xpel right on the showroom floor of the dealership. It's currently in the garage but the Xpel sealant will be applied as soon as Spring arrives in Massachusetts

Wait for the AutoGeek guys to chime in. Excellent products, service and advice.
I use XMT Spray Wax on the Xpel that is on the Vette. Check out the XMT products found on the AutoGeek web site. It states that XMT Spray Wax is safe to use on products like Xpel.
Hope this helps.
