Default Polish and wax, or polish and ceramic glaze?

I am planning a full vehicle detail w a pro guy. He will polish and wax the entire vehicle(and detail interior) for 350, which he says will likely need several more applications of wax within the year.

OR

He will polish and ceramic glaze the vehicle for 395 (but just basic cleaning of interior, not a full interior detail) Says the vehicle will not need waxing or glaze for 18 mos, approx.

It seems to me the Ceramic Glaze for the extra 50 is a pretty good deal, plus dont need to wax it.

What is the concensus of WAX vs Ceramic Glaze in appearance, durability and any other considerations?

What product are they using that they refer to as a ceramic glaze. Also most waxes will not last a year.

Generally you have traditional waxes, paint sealants, and coatings. A ceramic coating is a nice choice and offers the longest protection. The only issue, is that the paint needs to be properly cleaned and prepped prior to its application. As long as you study and use good washing and drying techniques, all will be well for a year or more depending on the coating being used.
