One wet towel and 1 dry, seems to do the trick for light
glass cleaning ( bug splatters ).

On outside glass, I find that a glass cleaner like Stoners Invisible Glass and MF towel work well to get rid of contaminants. What I would offer is to never clean glass in direct sunlight and when glass is hot, that appears to create streaking and likely causes the lubrication to dry quicker than needed.
