Default Gloss-It 2015 Corvette Stingray PPF Bumper Wrap and High Gloss Sealant

This beautiful new Corvette came into our shop needing some protection, he wanted to make sure that no rock chips occur in the front which is prone to happen eventually from traveling on the highway. We opted to use PPF service to cover at least the front bumper and he ended up choosing our High Gloss Coating service for a sealant after polishing the light marring out.

The first step was prepping the vehicle like normal, so we hand wash, claybar, and dry the entire vehicle first using our Ultimate Plush Microfiber Towel. We then bring it inside to get rid of all the light marring that occurred from the dealership. We were able to use our Evo21 Dual Action Polisher along with Evo 3000 Ultra Finish Polish and Blue Foam Polishing Pad. This got rid of any remaining marring and helped get the finish jeweled up and ready for the PPF installation. The main thing when installing the PPF is to make sure it's not too windy since it is very easy to get debris stuck behind the film, making you have to redo some of your hard work. We like to use a mixture of water and our Gloss Shampoo to make a formula that is safe to move the PPF around on the vehicle for lining up.

After the PPF installation we started the High Gloss process which we go over the entire vehicle even the PPF to give it some extra depth. The High Gloss sealant will help protect the paint for up to 8 months and gives the clear coat more color depth on the base coat in addition to protecting the current top coat. We use our Evo21 Dual Action Polisher with Blue Foam Pad on a 4-5 setting to spread the High Gloss onto the vehicle and buff. We then let the High Gloss sit on the vehicle for a couple of hours to lock in the flash time and help adhere to the painted surfaces. You can then just wipe off with a Microfiber Towel for a super wet look.

We then go over the car once more with some of our Gloss Envy Detail Spray combined with Edgeless Microfiber Towel to get a perfect shine and gloss. The Gloss Envy Detail Spray is safe for all PPF film and vinyl wraps, and will actually give it protection from fading in the UV sunlight.

Here are some of the completed after shots, this sting ray has an amazing shine to it along with great protection from any future occurrences it may encounter. In addition you can't even tell the bumper is wrapped with PPF. We love to demonstrate and show customers proper techniques to ensure their vehicle will be maintained for a long time to come!

We are offering a special right now on our Evo21 Dual Action Polisher, when purchased and checked out the first 5 people will receive a free Gloss-It Detail Bag worth $100. This will give you a great combination to your arsenal of detailing products and help you store them at the same time!
