How to clean these?
The visor is really dirty and dull 1975 basket weave plastic like stuff. I tried carpet cleaner but didn't do nothing but, dull it more. These jewels are pretty expensive if they can be saved I'll try it

Well here's a bump.
I think the first step is to identify the material.
Vinyl, velour, plastic...what are they made of?
In the interim, plain old soap and water?
Since they dulled, was color removed?
