I never spray the product on the car but on the micro fiber towel then buff with that immediately following with a towel without product

Meh, clear coat on the Vette is pretty hard. Wanna try something on 'sensitive' paint, try Subaru 'environmentally friendly' paint. That stuff is sensitive.

I've heard, not used, that Zaino Z6 diluted 1:1 with distilled water works pretty good in the sun or when the car is hot.

Duragloss Aquawax is a very good detailer and found locally too. It does not streak in the sun. Its really cost effective and unfortunately doesn't always get the credit it deserves. It also beads well and lasts for several washes.

Duragloss also offers a true QD'er within the line that adds gloss.
