How to care for NEW leather seats???
I just picked up a new pair of Black Leather seats at Carlisle. The salesperson said to spray them every 2 weeks with Lemon Pledge, rub it in by hand and let it sit. The water will evaporate and the oil will keep the leather soft. I have tried other products on the old seats, but it makes the leather sticky. I like to slide into place, so I stopped using it.
Does the Pledge sound right? I have strait Lemon Oil, does that work?
Any other suggestions?

Re: How to care for NEW leather seats??? (Triple Black 88)
I read old posts and it seems that most people use Lexol and the zaino conditioner.
I got the Lexol locally and tried it once so far. It made my seats feel "unslick" for a day or so, but now I can't tell.

I use Zaino Z9 & Z10 on all my leather seats with no problems. I would advise using it once a week on a daily driver and a little less on a weekend ride. It will kep the leather clean and soft and will not make anything greasy or slick, plus it smells good :)
