Kenotek/Swissvax/McKee's
Ok no comments on the curb strip, I've been digging up the yard to add top soil and get this is last to be done.
Now, Along with Ron, I've been using Kenotek Showroon Shine for a bit now. About 2 months ago- and maybe a little longer, I applied some swissvax either concorso or Insignis V2 ( have to check as it's been one of many). I did not strip this time but just applied. I have not polished the car in at least a year and a half- do not do 2 bucket ( on this car ) and have few if any marks from washing. This is a topic for another day, but with all due respect( and there is much) to Mike Phillips and Kevin Brown, I have a third method to reduce introducing marring. It's worked for me since the late 70's and I'll stick to it.
That being said-I got away from the purpose of this. One of the great things today is the choice we have in detailing products. AutoGeek to me is a leader in this aspect as they bring a varied line up to the table. Knowledgeable and helpful people are an asset. Scott-you are one!!!
Now it's tough to keep up with Ron and his arsenal-but even though we have never met, I feel a kindred spirit in the quest for the ultimate shine and durability. I think we both speak of Kenotek as another great detail product, and to be honest is pretty much my new go to. Now don't get me wrong, I have about 8 or 9 others that I use and they are good themselves. It's just this stuff has got a hold of me now. included is doing the plastic on the console. Smoooooooth,
McKee's Tire coating is turning out to be on of my favorite of all time. You control the gloss you want. Durability has been great, I have done multiple coats and touch-ups on a couple vehicles and the look is fantastic! And I still have half the bottle. I want to try some more of their products as I'm very pleased so far.
Now I suck at pic's but you might get the idea.
Ron, Scott, CMonkey, and others out there who either do it for a living, hobby, side job or whatever- keep it up! You keep me inspired and always looking to deliver my best product

Nice work .... Kenotek is indeed a great detail spray as well as the other items used. I too like the McKee's Tire Protectant Gel, and wont tempt you with my newest choice for tires ... we appreciate all the kind words. Just sharing the hobby.

been busy with an army of vehicles and this Sunday finally saw time to attend to some of mine.
So I guess it's been 3 weeks ( or 2-they all blended together recently).
As for looks, and beading sheeting I don't see any characteristics that make it stand out. Now that is not a necessarily a bad thing. On perfect prepped paint, many excellent products will look the same or close. It's all down to personal preference.I will do nothing else to the test subject to test the durability.
On a side note it's a shame I've been too busy to get some before/after's. One the vehicles I did was a Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Jeep. Some hard as hell paint there. After a 2 step I did the old Fire/Ice . Holy crap they thought the paint was dripping off the thing. Been a while since I did that combo, but sure is stunning

This has become one of my favorites period. I applied to the side panel of a truck that has not been prepped since Eisenhower. 2 weeks and she beads like mad and still looks fresh

Dang. That is the look I like. Fresh but not overly shiney. I think that is a fake look. Awesome Ron. Gonna add this product for sure.
And no more pics of that C2. I think I cry every time i see it. what a stunner

The Gyeon Tire is a unique tire protectant. One application is quite shiny and a bit glossy looking. A second wipe, with a MF or Foam applicator will reduce the sheen and make it quite matte and fresh looking. It does bead well, and doesn't wash off with first light rain.
