Default Hot weather storage

I am thinking of storing my 2006 C6 in Myrtle Beach for the summer months when I return to NH. Any advice on storage tips to deal with the hot temps and high humidity. Am I better off shipping it back north than to store it, It would be in storage for about 7 months a year.

The humidity should be your biggest concern. Condensation, rust, mold and possible insect infestation. With the car sitting that long regardless of the storage technique you can have serious issues in such a humid and warmer climate. A climate controlled storage would be expensive but the best way to go. I would recommend returning the car back to New Hampshire and using proper storage techniques for such a long storage.

Monthly storage fees in self storage spots for 7 months would probably be more then the cost to ship it back home.

I think your right and the peace of mind would offset any cost difference.

You convinced me - Long term storage doesn't sound good.
