Default How many coats of Zaino do you have on your 'vette?

I picked up my C-6 on 10-19-04. I just put on my (approx. 120th coats of ZAINO...probably much more!!!!)

If I don't drive it during the week...I'll put maybe one or two coats on during the week...!

"Use what ya like and use it often" if it works for you but methinks so many other, more durable and equally as glossy products out there. Can even 'fine-tune' for look you prefer; some coatings/sealants give a sharp, hard candy look while others lend a softer, more carnauba-like glow.

But, if it's working for you, stick with it. While Zaino has not updated or brought out any new products in years, the products do lend a distinctive 'Zaino-esque' look to the cars they are used on.

The only Zaino product I use these days is Clear Seal.

Which of the new coatings are compatible with using over Zaino Z5, Z2 or Clear Seal?

Over Zaino? None...generally coatings require a clean surface to bond to.

Still a big fan of the Zaino lineup. However, I haven't layered Z2 or Z5 in many years. The Clear Sealant topped with Z8 just works so well. You get a wet look with minimal effort. I maintain with Z8/Z6 between full details. Pinnacle Crystal Mist is also a great QD/Topper over Clear Sealant.

My favorite is AIO. I'll top it with Z3 or 5 or Clear Seal in between major cleanups.

I only use 16 for the tires/valance, 8 for the car paint only and 6 for everything else (rims, wheel wells, door/hood/trunk jams and engine compartment.) Anything I can reach gets a coat of Zaino.
