Default grease/tar spots on inside of wheel

I have some grease/tar spots on the inside of my polished wheels. They smear but they wont come off. I scrubed the hell out of them and tried simple green but no luck. Please help me out. thanks

If you have clear coated wheels, try Castrol Super Clean Degreaser or Greased Lightning for the grease. WD-40 or kerosene will take care of the tar. I always use a piece of plastic (like the plastic from a plastic file folder) to remove the big globs and then use solvents to finish the job.

If your wheels are clear-coated you should treat them like your paint. Try some clay or a Tar Remover, such as Stoner's Tarminator.
