Does anyone have experience with Chemical Guys VSS?
I have recently acquired a low mileage 04Z and am looking to start a paint correction. I have stumbled upon the Chemical Guys VSS as a two-in-one alternative. Does anyone have any experience or input on this product? Is it a ineffective shortcut? When I have time I'll post some before pics of the paint to provide a better idea of the condition of the paint but I'm just looking for some product feedback right now. Thanks folks

I don't know that polish specifically, but will share that polishes are very pad dependent. If you use a more abrasive pad you often increase the cutting of the polish. Using a lighter pad may reduce the abrasiveness. There are many good one-step polishes and with the right pad can do nice work. It wont work as well as a two-three step specialized polishing, but different strokes for different folks.

I do and am very impressed with it. Got it as a free sample to try in my detail shop and it really does a great job. Cleans up swirls and minor scratches and leaves behind an excellent gloss.
Used an orbital with a medium cut pad on 4 and was very impressed.
Tried it with a Flex and a medium cut pad and it did a little better cleaning up the swirls and deeper scratches. Prior to that we were using 3M products, but VSS has become our go to product for heavier work over the 3M.
We use a pea size drop in 4 spots(12/6/3/9 as the clock goes,) on the pad and that is plenty of product to do a hood.

One more thing work it until it pretty much disappears, as it starts out as big chunks and as you work it the product it breaks down and does an incredible job of polishing the finish.
