Default What's a safe product to remove tar on factory polished rims...?

What's a safe product to remove tar on factory polished rims...? I removed them and have cleaned them pretty good, with the exception of some hard tar spots and blemishes on the inside of the rims...

3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner. Make sure you rewax the area when you finish with it. Did you try claying your wheels too?

No I have not...I figured they were on to deep-plus I have had a lot of difficulty finding clay bars here D.D. Will "Goo Gone" work just as well...?

Also, unless my CCW rims get here by Friday-my car will still be up in the air-sucking air-and I will not be able to show you that problem on Saturday :(

I may go w/o the car just to meet you though for all the good advice

Do you have a website or product line...?

There's a product called Tarminator that should work. I think it's Stoners.
I've used kerosene without any problems, but some are squeemish about this approach.
