Car wash by hand, but what about underbody wash/care?
I recently got a 04 Z06 and plan to handle all the washing myself - hand wash of course!
However, what do you guys do about underbody care? I figure I have to do something and not just let dirt accumulate under the car
I was thinking that maybe I should try to find a local brushless car wash place that can accommodate the vette and take it there a couple of times a year... Good or bad idea? Is there a better solution?

Forget the auto car washes. Too much potential for damage and some can't accommodate the wheels anyway (too wide).
For the underside, I went to Wally Mart and got the $7 soaker hose (the flat ones with all the pinholes in it on one side). Then I just drive the car over it a couple of time then was the exterior normally. After turning it on, of course! :jester
Work great and hits all the places dirt hides.
Just my $.02 worth.

I flush the underneath q couple times a year with my regular and then crawl under there with a sponge if it is really dirty. It's not the most confortable thing to do, but it works.
