Default Zanio Problems?

The last couple of times I used Zanio I have noticed that it is very difficult to get off.( 2 and 6) It leaves smudges and smears all over the place. I’ve sworn by this stuff for the last two years and now I swear at it. Has anybody else noticed this? I am putting in on in very thin coats so that isn’t the problem.

How long are you leaving it on? Humidity is the main factor in Zaino's drying time. I know around here it is really humid outside and I have to let the polish sit for a bout an hor or so before I start removing it.

Definetly humidity. ZFX and thin coats will help alot.

Default Zaino Problems?

I've only had that problem once and the reason was that I put it on too thick. Try mixing some ZFX, it greatly accelerates drying time, and if you go a little too thick, it still wipes off easily.

:iagree: To much is not good, less is much better.

You guys are preaching to the choir. I am a long time Zanio user, and I already said that I put it on in a THIN coat. That isn’t the problem. In addition I let it dry for about three hours before removing it, so I don’t think that was the problem either.

In that case I would contact Sal by email or phone. Everything you say in your procedure is correct, so there must be another factor and if anyone knows what it might be, it is Sal.

Your post reminds me of the reason I finally made a switch from Zaino after years of use. I will not go in to what I product I use now as my intention is not to start another polish/wax debate. But I have seen other people experiencing the same problem as you after following the directions to a T. It just seems that Zaino can be very tempermental depending on various factors such as application and humidity. I chose to go with a more forgiving product that gives me as good if not better results...

Default Zaino Problems?

oh kay

hmm, try a spritzing of Z6 after wiping the finish free of polish. that usually clears anything that's on there and keeps things smear free.
