Do you use it to stop the rubber from sticking to your car ?
I've used it on racecars and it's worked fine.
I wonder if there are long term problems with paint.
On the dirt cars we just use diesel to help the mud fall off.
I don't think that's a good idea on pavement though

One of many "homebrew" cleaning methods, and I don't know of anyone who's experienced paint problems with it. A good coat of wax should make a nice barrier between the clearcoat and the coat of Pam. WD-40 is also a good bug/grime cleaner-upper, but it strips the wax off too. Oh well..just keep shinin' her up!
