Default Proud of that girl

Here is a nice pic of my niece co-driver @ an a/x yesterday. She's only 19 and this will be her 4th season of a/x (she does 3-4 events a year).



In the afternoon it started to rain and she took a run in pretty wet conditions. When she came in I asked if she wanted to gut it out for the rest of the day, part of her response was "... if I can't drive it as hard as I want to, why bother ..."

I didn't say anything to her then but I was proud of that little girl!

BTW, she finished 4th of 6 in combined class, 4th of 7 in ladies class and 50th of 86 overall PAX.

Good deal Tom!! Keep her practicing and she'll be at the Tire Rack Nationals before you know it!!

I see a wee bit of shoe polish on those tires, I remember the good old days of doing that while killing cones!
