no way ... I'm sure you put much more stress on a wheel than a 200+ mph 500 mile race would ....

This remark was made:
Do you happen to know whether OZ HAS departed? If yes, maybe there
are a lot of cars this year because designs were finalized prior to the
pull-out and if so, then it will be more interesting to see how cars are
shod next year.
(Incidently - thanks, TR & UPS. I received an international order today
that arrived in less than one week. First order with TR - VERY unusually
fast delivery for UPS ground service.)

A month or two ago, their facility in Miami closed up. So you have to
source OZ from Italy now (if you go factory direct).

OZ wasn't very well represented in the US and the people in Italy realized that and that their reputation was dwindling .... So, they had to make a change and that change was to find a better distribution method for North America. One that would give them high visibility, technical expertise, top notch customer service (their words not mine) and efficient distribution. So, now the exclusive importer of entire OZ Racing product line to the North American continent is The Tire Rack

That's a nice feather in TireRack's cap. A win-win-win situation for
the mfr, vendor and customer.
Will you be primarily handling OZ road wheel retail sales and perhaps
acting as a stocking/distribution point for race teams while Italy provides
racing wheel design and tech support? Or will TR also be providing some
level of technical support for the racing community, too?

primarily road wheels with a little technical support for smaller race teams .... it's not like I can teach the engineers at Penske a whole lot
