Default C6 Z51 Autox Alignment

I've done about 5 autocrosses in this car so far this year.

I'm finding that at -2.1* of front negative camber the inside of the front tires are about 20 degrees hotter than the outside. At -1.4* the outside is only slightly warmer than the inside but the front tires are skuffing more on the outside of the tire at this setting. I run a slight amount of toe out in front, also.

The car is a daily driver so I think I'm going to settle somewhere around -1.7* front negative camber as a middle ground. I'll expect the temps to be more even and hopefully the wear will be even too at this setting for most autocrosses.

I'm running Hoosier A6s 295x18 F and 315x18 R. I've lowered the car about 1/2" all around & no other suspension mods.

Observations?

what do you run in the rear, and what wheels are you using.

Wheels are CCWs 18x10 F and 18x11 R which puts me in ASP.

I'm deciding on about -1.0* negative camber on the rear. With negative 1.2* on rear the inside of the rear tires are a little warmer than the outside ... so about -1.0* is where I'm headed. If I change my mind I'll post after a couple more autocrosses.

Tire temps are probably not the last word on camber settings but the numbers I'm coming up with will make a good compromise for autox and street.

During your experimentation with camber settings do you notice if the car feels like it grips better in the corners with more or less camber?

What I noticed is that when I measured my times against several very consistent competitors is that my times were the best when front camber was around -1.7*. At -2.1* or -2.2* my times fell noticably but this was on a different day at a different track.

I actually am a little suprised becasue I figured that the A6s liked more negative camber than -1.7* on my Z51 C6. The sway bars on my car come stock with about the same size as the stock C5 Z06.

I'm curious what others guys are experiencing.

I am running the same setup as you except I am on RA1's. I think you are right on it with -1.6-1.7 up front with a little toe out and -1.0 rear.
I am currently at -1.5F and -1.0 rear. I get a little outside shoulder wear on the front the back end is perfect. I am going to -1.7 front.
