I'll be there Sat and Sunday running with the newbies in HPDE. I have a burnt brown/maroon/burgandy "88 (it's been called many others as well...). I just had it aligned at Auto Assets in Powell to your basic settings in the VB & P catalog.
I'll be sure to say Hi !!

Danny, too bad about some other Corvette guy trying to get you out of their class before you even run a event by going behind your back and then does not even show up to take his a$$ beating like a man instead of a BOY

What's the story here?
Danny sure laid down some amazing times at MO. I felt like I was tapped out at 1:44 on NT-01's, and Danny found 10 seconds with a car that's probably slower down the straight than mine.

Danny put down a 1:33.6 on the club course with a 70k+ stock motor plus headers! That's impressive since the T1 club course lap record is in the 1:36 range. A 1:33.0 time is the pro course T1 lap record.
Oh, and by the way, it was his first time ever driving at MidOhio!
Next month we'll get a data logger on his car so that we can see it in more detail.
Danny, if you've got video of the 1:33 lap, send it my way and I'll host it.

Pro straight lines past T2 & T3 chicane. Pro is what you see when you watch WC or ALMS.

Did way better than I expected being the first time around the MO course. I will however be going significantly faster around the circuit next time I am there , as my learing curve was digital. I will be changing things for sure that will equate to a speed increase. Hell I might even bring some new tires or at least ones that dont have too may heat cycles..............
I'll try to format video for you Jeremy. Cant wait to see everyone again in August.

Nice meeting up with you again Danny, it was great watching you fly around that place . Basically Danny was 10 seconds faster than any other Vette there!
My friends John (Yellow Z06) and Greg (Blue Z06) were in HPDE 3 and running 1.43 to 1.45 (off my stopwatch) with clean laps and were watching your line trying to pick up some speed.
Great weather, great event, I look forward to seeing more of Mr.Popp at NASA or SCCA in the future.
Hope to see you at Road America later this year, this time leave Brock and his weather elsewere.

Doesn't John Heinercy (sp? sorry) have the T1 record?
Danny what have you done to that car to be quicker then a t1 prepped driven by him.
Not taking anything away from you and le's even say your a 1/2 second a lap better driver then he is. That still means you were 2 seconds below that.
What is really done to that car?
Or is the track really that much quicker now?

Well done Danny 1:33's is an awesome feat considering the car you have. Really simply awesome.
First time at the track, in a car with a stock 70K+ LS6, and no real brake work. By the way did you have the Radio on?
Not much more to say.

And Danny is that much better of a driver. Watch out if he decides to go T1 racing.

That time is flying. I doubt car is as stock as everyone says.
John H is an amazing driver and to beat his time by 3 seconds is not done by all driving. Maybe a tenth or two but that's some mods to get you home
