Looking for experience and suggestions on mounting Amerex 2.5 pound halon fire extinquisher in C6 with Shark bar; otherwise stock interior.

Use the Vetteworks C6 extinguisher bracket (pn-C605). It fastens to the front two seat rails and can be installed or removed in seconds without tools. No modifications are necessary. It is constructed through a precision lazer machined process and are powder coated with a matt (flat) finish. It fits all C5 & C6 Z06's.
Gm is currently using this bracket on their C6 Corvette pace cars.

Dan's mount with the Amerex is the way to go. That is what I use. They are completely compatible with our seat mounts as well.

Thanks guys, really appreciate the help. You refer to Z06 model; is the hardware the same on standard C6 model year 2006 coupe?
