My wife came through and said "some kind of race cars were running on some kind of race track" so I decided to check it out and caught most of it..

McNish/Capello in the new Audi R10 took the P1 and overall, #4 vette took GT1 and #3 was 3rd with the AM in between.

I wish these races were on Speed. I'm glad they're making CBS from the standpoint of getting some mainstream exposure, but boy their coverage stinks. 2:30 race, 2hr coverage where they simply lop off 40 minutes of the race in between commercial breaks, and 1/2 the coverage is showing the racers at waterparks and extra-curricular activity... I'd rather watch the racing.

Wish they would show the extra- curricular activties during NASCAR races, might be more exciting.

Race was 2:45. So CBS cut 45 minutes off the top. Then with the commercials cut another 40 minutes out. Factor in the BS in the begining and end and you have roughly 70 minutes of actual racing coverage.

I tivo'd it, but I was there live.

It's rediculous... hell NBC and TNT show NASCAR caution laps

Don't be. I was in SLC the weekend before with 100 plus heat, and Portland was 95 on saturday and 103 on Friday

But I'll make up for it when I hit Petit in September and laguna in October.
