New product from Hardbar (alignment tool)
We are now taking orders on this new very useful tool that allows you to do your alignments at home, shop or track. As will be detailed in the instructions that are being finished (they take longer than the product!), you use this tool with the car up on jack stands with the car supported on the a-arms out at the ball joints so that it is very near ride height. With the wheels off you have very easy access to the tie rods and jam nuts. With this tool you need two tape measures and since it hangs lower than the car the tapes have clear shot to the other side where the thumb screws hold the tape ends for one person toe checking and adjustments. I use the Starrett Digi-tape with LCD digital readouts and get it done fast (not shown). If you add a $30 laser (from Home Depot, etc) and a plumb bob you can do thrust angle very accurately so the wheels are pointed down the center of the car. And if you already have a digital camber gauge, put it on the angle piece and rotate lock to lock and get caster.
The tool breaks down in seconds and fits in a 24 inch box in your trailer and is over-designed for years of abuse and still be true. I know there will be many questions and that is why I am still writing the instruction sheet. It is so nice to be at the track and be able quickly to play with a little toe out in the front for quick turn in, or toe in at the rear for better drive out of the corners and immediately see the result. Get you car's setup perfect at the track days, and save in tire wear and buy yourself a second or 2 per lap. I know it sounds complicated but it is very easy and fast.
The tool will retail initially at $199 so it will pay for itself in one use for most of you that take your car to a shop for track days.

2 weeks or less. Oh yea, it fits, C4-C6 and any other car with 5 studs on a 4.5 inch circle (Mustangs, etc). Anyone know the C2-3 bolt pattern?

Very cool Gary!
I will take one. There is nothing that gets me more ticked off than trying to do toe-adjustments by myself with the car on the ground.
Putting it up on jacks, wheels off and with a tool like this will make it a pleasure.
How do I order?

This is a great looking product Gary. All Corvettes 1963 and up are 5x4.75". The earlier cars may be the same but I wasn't able to find out how far back.
