Default NCCC Rules Online?

Are the NCCC Low Speed and High Speed rules available online anywhere? Have always run with the SCCA, but would like to look at NCCC events. As such, would like to see their rules.

Thanks!

No, they are not. To get the full rule book you have to order one.

That said, I have scanned the first two sections (General Event info and Speed Event Rules) into a pdf. If you would like a copy, pm me your email address and I'll send it to you.

About 7 or 8 bucks will buy you the entire rulebook if you need it. You can order off the NCCC website.

Here's the High Speed Series rules, but you'll still need the NCCC rules to make sense of it.

Al, there's no section on proper brake modulation. I checked for you.

Strange there wasn't anything in the rules about the drinking competition AFTER the event! We'll have to draft something for a clarification!

Be careful. You might not want to go back to only getting 4 runs and having to do corner work while running courses designed for buzzbomb cars.Getting 10-14 runs a day on courses designed for vettes might spoil you. I still like to run the little courses but if there's an NCCC event anywhere within range I'll go there instead.

but only getting four runs forces you to learn to be fast right off the bat.

Good point.....However I still believe the NCCC events are a much better deal. I have noticed that I run better in SCCA events since I started running NCCC(seat time helps)

You are right & I have a ton of respect for anyone who can run a course to near perfection in just a couple of runs....... However to further expound on Daffy's point of getting 10 to 14 runs.....
At NCCC events all all the southest, you get 2 runs per event and 5 to 7 events per day ( or 10 to 14 events per weekend ) So it is still a huge advantage to be "fast right off the bat". The big difference is in SCCA events you are basically running one event with 3 or 4 chances to run a good lap, while the NCCC is running multiple events with 2 chances per event to run 1 good lap.
I'm not saying that one is better than the other, just trying to explain the differences.

Back to the topic,
I wish the NCCC rulebook was available on-line, that is one area where the SCCA is light years ahead of the NCCC.

It's usually 7 events in the south and 5 in Michigan...That silver C3 really hauls the mail by the way....
